All children deserve to live happy and healthy lives. Plan International Australia recognises the power and potential of every single child. Yet poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination strip them of their childhoods, and it is girls who are most affected. Plan International is a global independent development and humanitarian organisation. As one of the oldest, largest and most experienced organisations in our field we know that there is nowhere in the world where girls are treated as equals. We work alongside children, young people, supporters and partners to tackle root causes of the injustices facing girls and the most marginalised children. We have the backing of Australians who want to see a just world for all children and equality for girls. Our supporters believe that all children everywhere deserve safety, health, education, love, belonging and equality.
