(UK, 1138760) The Dreike Scholarship Fund has a simple aim - to help Africans who live near wildlife reserves to enjoy a decent education; allowing them to improve their quality of life and give them the opportunity to fulfill their ambitions and potential. We do this by providing funds for individual students to attend school who would otherwise not be able to enjoy the education they deserve. We currently support 36 children and one student nurse in Zambia, 16 children in Rwanda and 8 more children and one student nurse in Uganda. Our scholarships pay for any school fees, uniforms, school books and other materials. We help children who we feel are most deserving and too poor to otherwise afford to go to school. Our future aim is to continue to provide funds for these 60 children & young people so that they, and others, receive an education they would otherwise not have access to. Please help educate ONE AFRICAN CHILD...

YTD Raised: £150.00We are run solely by volunteers who are passionate about our local hospital, we believe that Solihull Hospital a precious service, it is the lifeline for our whole community. We purchase equipment that could be described as "a nice to have" or pay for equipment to be bought on a trial basis to see the impact it has on the patients life, it might be a more modern version of a piece of existing equipment, it might be a addition to equipment but one thing is for sure ... it will make the patients treatment or time in hospital better than it would have been without the equipment we purchase. We start where the NHS finishes. We raise money by holding stalls, running events, running the afternoon trolley around the wards, raffles,tombolas, collection tins and we get a few legacies along the way.
