We are the only ambulance service in New Zealand that is free to patients. It costs around $21 million every year to run Wellington Free. The government provides $17 million and we fundraise the remaining $4 million. This year we especially need to fund six new ambulances for the region, each costing $258,000. We greatly appreciate that you want to help and we really need your support.
