Crossroads Care East Sussex, Brighton & Hove provides professional respite for carers using paid, trained staff. A carer is someone, who provides help and support, without payment, to a partner, child, relative, friend or neighbour, due to age, physical or mental illness, addiction or disability.
Plymouth Society for Mentally Handicapped, more recently known as Plymouth Highbury Trust (for people with a Learning Disability) was established in 1956. For over 50 years, the Charity has been providing an ever increasing number of services and resources for the Learning Disabled Community in the Plymouth area. Over 500 people plus their families and carers currently use the following: Residential - 12 people living on site; twice weekly daytime activity Orbit club; twice weekly evening social club; Advocacy, Enabling, Appointee Services, weekday Community Support Service; In brief Plymouth Highbury Trust is a "one stop Community Hub" for the Learning Disabled Community in the Plymouth area and is highly regarded by Plymouth Social Services and other professionals. We are currently fund raising to purchase a much needed new specially adapted mini bus with rear wheelchair lift to replace an ageing, increasingly unreliable mini bus which has broken down on a number of occasions. This, despite regular servicing and maintenance. Your support will be very much appreciated.

The Miracle Foundation Scio is a charity that wants to bring about change in children's lives. We offer early intervention in bereavement & trauma support to young people living in Scotland. We deliver 1-2-1 and groups counselling sessions. We believe all CYP should be supported through their grief.
We are a charity that supports the Hospital to deliver services beyond that provided by the NHS. We provide guiding, befriending and a shop and tea-bar and also support the to purchase of equipment and amenities not provided by NHS. We are run by willing Volunteers who give their time freely.

We work closely with individuals in assisting them to achieve their goals and we are available to provide ongoing support as those goals change. We are the ONLY organisation training Guide Dogs in Tasmania. We develop skills, optimise choices and create possibilities for Tasmanians who are blind or vision impaired.
