In Leeds many churches have seen that need and have come together to serve our city. Leeds Foodbank supports people by providing emergency food, and signposting them to other support such as debt advice services and job clubs, to help them through their food crisis. We do this through a network of food distribution centres based in local churches and community centres throughout Leeds. Each distribution centre is linked to one of our four Trussell Trust Licensed foodbanks: Leeds North; Leeds South; Leeds West and Leeds East.

Young carers look after a family member who has an illness, disability, mental health problem or a drug/alcohol problem. The Young Carers service provides regular evening youth groups, events, activities, residentials and one-to-one support for 8-18 year olds. Through these we provide information, emotional support, a chance to learn new skills and an opportunity for the young carers to take a well earned break from their caring responsibilities. In addition, being part of a group and sharing experiences helps the young carers realise that they are not alone and there are, in fact, thousands of other young carers out there.
