Our aim is to combat food poverty by opening a food bank that provides free, nutritionally balanced, familiar, and culturally appropriate emergency ethnic food parcels for those in financial hardships; and subsequently signposting to relevant information and advisory services.

As a social enterprise we provide opportunities for voluteering, employment and learning workshops for art, music, IT, education and sporting activities. We pride ourselves on the social value we provide for participants nationally.

FRANS is an independent non-for-profit disability support organisation in Sydney, primarily supporting people with intellectual, cognitive and developmental disabilities of all ages, as well as their families and carers. FRANS was founded in 1983 and has a thirty-year history of developing innovative and person-centred support programs, always in consultation with the people who access its programs. FRANS programs include indispensable and highly flexible respite, including overnight and weekend respite. FRANS also offers a dynamic suite of programs enabling greater personal autonomy through growing life-skills and reducing dependence on carers and family. FRANS supports the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and our employees are bound by the principles for which it stands.
