Last year we gave the go-ahead for a science laboratory which is now complete. We are educating over 100 children and are now raising money for a new dormitory for the children to use.

YTD Raised: £80.00Little Chalfont Community Library was rescued from imminent closure in 2007 and has been run on a community basis ever since. It is entirely managed and run by over 50 unpaid volunteers and funded by donations, grants and fund raising activities. We offer all the facilities of a Council run library and are linked to the South East Library Management Computer system. Membership and other services are provided free of charge and customers can use their County Council library card to borrow books and other items. We also run a film club, reading groups, a 'Knit and Natter' group, computer classes and many other activities. Over the last nine years the Library has gone from strength to strength with an increase in visitor numbers and the number of books issued. Our aim is to continue to be a friendly hub for local people to access information and education free of charge in the middle of Little Chalfont.

At our club, you'll find all three. But we are so much more than a sport, the benefits are wide ranging, whether you're a child that needs confidence, a teenager that has fallen in with the wrong crowd or an adult that is struggling with the challenges of daily life. We set challenges that when achieved will help confidence grow. We set the example and bring a positive message that empowers people to make right choices and there is no better place than on the mat, after a few rounds to foster friendships and release those daily pressures. BFK really is a special place. We would love to bring the benefits to so many more and that's why we are raising funds to provide a place we can call home. But money is only one part of the process, once the funds are raised, each and every student will be required to make the place ours, whether it be by using a paintbrush or running a class, they will learn that with effort anything is possible.
