We operate our advice service from two permanent offices and numerous outreach venues around the Borough.Our workforce is made up of over 140 staff and volunteers, who give their time to help local people.We work to ensure local people have access to free, confidential, independent and impartial quality advice. Working with our clients to explore and discuss their options with them so they feel informed and empowered to make decisions of their own, with confidence. We can give advice in many areas including, consumer issues, relationships, welfare benefits, debt/money advice, housing problems for home owners and tenants, discrimination, employment and health. Not only do we provide the advice people need for the problems they face, we have a local research and campaign group and we seek to champion the rights of individuals at a local, regional and national level. We seek to influence and improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives. Most people are not aware that we are a charity and need to raise funds every year to ensure we can provide advice services to local people.Help us to raise money by donating either a one off fixed amount or regularly donate per month.Thank you.
