Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate.We are a woodwork furniture making and upholstery workshop project based in Bath, which runs for the direct benefit of those with a mental or physical health condition, those in recovery from addiction to drugs or alcohol, those who have suffered a debilitating major life trauma and those on the margins of and excluded from society. Our project is set up to help some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Bath and the surrounding area.Our service users spend structured full-day sessions in the supportive, caring environment of our professionally equipped workshop, up to 3 days per week. During these sessions they refurbish donated second hand furniture and learn the woodwork and upholstery skills need to make furniture from scratch, helping to build their self confidence and self-worth, making them feel included in society, enhancing their employment prospects and helping them to move forward and lead fulfilling lives.
