(UK, 1056397) Through Virgin Money Giving, Petersfield Round Table is supporting the PUAD 2013 Charity Bike Ride Click on the Events link on the left to see more information about fundraising events. ---- The PUAD Charity Bike ride goes up, over and through the South Downs National Park around Petersfield. There are 3 routes to choose from; the main 30 mile route, a shorter 20 mile circuit or a family friendly 5 mile route. Last year well over 600 riders took part in 7th year of the Ups and Downs, with the event raising in the region of £10,000 for local charities, organisations and good causes - so a big thank you to everyone who has took part! You can ride just for fun, help raise sponsorship for our partner charities or raise money for your own charity or club - the choice is yours!

Some of the projects we have been involved in range from running a free week long Primary Health Care clinic in Tanzania, working alongisde a local community to build and equip a sewing room that widows can earn a living from in Tanzania as well as helping clear gardens for a residential rehabilitation programme in Kent, England. We are committed to sending out teams of well equipped volunteers, as well as providing resources and financial support. We also focus on educating the next generation, which we believe is a vital key to implementing lasting change in any nation.
