We are there in the aftermath of a flood to offer practical advice and emotional support, for as long as it takes. We also work with community groups to help them reduce their risk of being flooded and support them to work in partnership with key agencies and authorities. Finally, we champion the issues being faced locally to make sure government and organisations have a community perspective when developing policy and strategy in relation to flooding.

We want to help people develop their character through exposure to challenging, exciting and inspiring experiences. The Trust offers small to medium size grants to individuals who need financial support in order to achieve this aim. As young people are put under ever greater academic pressure and face growing social and psychological pressures through the emergence of social media and gaming mediums it has been the traditional reliefs that have been thrust aside. At times when it may be most needed, adventurous training seems to be dropping further and further down the list of priorities. We want to inspire people to take that next step, to try something new or challenging, and enhance their own expectations of what they can achieve.
