An even greater number (2.5 billion) do not have access to sanitation facilities. This combined shortfall leads to the deaths of 400 children a day. WellFound works in some of the worlds poorest countries with communities whose situation is most acute, finding appropriate solutions to provide them with clean, safe drinking water and sanitation facilities such as building wells and latrines. 100% of every donation we receive goes directly to projects and is never spent on administration. We purchase equipment that could be described as "a nice to have" or pay for equipment to be bought on a trial basis to see the impact it has on the patients life, it might be a more modern version of a piece of existing equipment, it might be a addition to equipment but one thing is for sure ... it will make the patients treatment or time in hospital better than it would have been without the equipment we purchase. We start where the NHS finishes. We raise money by holding stalls, running events, running the afternoon trolley around the wards, raffles,tombolas, collection tins and we get a few legacies along the way.
