Newark Women’s Aid (NWA) was founded in 1975 by a local Women’s Group, who recognized the need for the provision of refuge for victims of domestic abuse in this area.Newark Women’s Aid provides safe accommodation, with associated support services, for women with or without children, who are living with or have experienced any form of physical, sexual, emotional, psychological or economic abuse. Every pound you give really does make a difference to the service we provide.
