YTD Raised: £65.00The Church is at the centre of our village, it's not solely used as a place of worship but, as it’s the only community building, it’s used for social gatherings such as musical performances and various events that help to bring the villagers together. It is also used as a resting place for those travelling through our village who may stop for a cup of tea, soft drinks, a quiet read or a chat. Our Church was built in the 12th Century and like all old buildings, it requires constant maintenance and repair, and relies on fundraising and donations.

Money raised went towards an appeal for a rural ambulance service- clothes and toys for street children in Nepal- helping rescued animals in South Africa- supporting several orphanages, care homes and safe houses in PeruWhere fundraising pages are supporting a particular project, a minimum of 75% of donations go to the allocated project, the rest and Gift Aid going into a central fund to support all the projects after the Charitys core costs are covered. This helps to ensure that each project receives a level of support appropriate to its needs.
