Through our network of volunteer wildlife carers, rescuers, transporters, emergency services, government agencies and commercial operators, we facilitate wildlife rescues ranging from orphaned ducklings to injured adult kangaroos. Emmaus residents (or "Companions", as they are known) each have their own room and work together, collecting and re-selling donated furniture and household goods. In an atmosphere of practical support, Companions have an opportunity to gain new skills and regain their self-respect while working to support other people in greater need.
