(UK, 1017344) Browse eventsWe are a local independent charity who support and work with disadvantaged homeless young people aged 16-25 years old including parents, mothers and babies who are homeless, and who face a number of physical and emotional difficulties. We provide accommodation and a temporary home. We support those young people that have been rejected or turned away by mainstream services, and over the course of several months help them to get back on track, getting them into housing, increasing their confidence and self esteem, and helping them to develop their skills in areas that interest them. Through the development of individual plans for each young person we are able to focus upon the issues and barriers that they face, as well as building upon the strengths they have. We also support young people at risk of becoming homeless, and who we have previously supported, through a drop-in service giving them practical support and advice. We don't want a young person's homelessness to become an on-going or recurring part of their life, and working with them we aim to help to develop longer-term stability.
