(UK, SC037411) Browse eventsThe Tarland and Mid Deeside Community First Responders are volunteers who have undertaken training in order to be able to provide life saving treatment to those people within the community who are critically injured or ill in the first few minutes prior to the arrival of an ambulance.When required, the responders are notified by an Ambulance Control Centre following a 999 call to the Scottish Ambulance Service. An A&E vehicle will also be dispatched. Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate. TMDCFR now have trained volunteers in Tarland, Aboyne and Lumphanan. There are 3 sets of Responder kits which contain expensive equipment that must be regularly replaced (after use, or on expiry date). Also TMDCFR look after 15 public access defibrillators in the Mid Deeside Area, and are responsible for replacing used or expired pads and expired batteries in 8 of them.
