The Children's Ward we support is at the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, formerly The Wrexham Maelor Hospital. We have replaced all the televisions, bought DVDs and Gameboys to pass the time. We also fill the treat box to help when a child has to have an unpleasant treatment. We have also bought fold-up beds so a parent can spend the night by their child and chairs so two parents can sit together in a cubicle. All purchases are made by consultation with or at the request of the staff on the ward. Lauren Brown suffered from Ewings Sarcoma and spent a lot of time on the ward and appreciated all that was done for her. The Fund has been set up in her memory.
