As well as supporting third world projects, our strength is the massive support we give to the local community, which includes: Providing free hot Christmas lunches on Christmas Day to frail and elderly people living at home; Providing a free live concert over two nights to elderly and disabled folks in the town, including providing transport; providing heavily subsidised holidays in Blackpool to elderly people, including providing transport; providing free canal trips to elderly & disabled people, supporting several local hospices and cancer treatment units, supporting local young people's organisations such as scouts and guides and cadets, supporting Young Carers; we provide hands on support to a local Community Centre by providing management and practical skills; providing a free Father Christmas who is towed around the district in a specially constructed mobile grotto. Our overall mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives and put a smile on people's faces.
