(UK, 520264) Thank you for visiting the 7th Wallasey Scout Group fundraising page. The group is run entirely by volunteers and we rely upon fundraising to enable the young peopleto gain life enhancing experiences. We are currently raising funds to update the toilet facilities in our Headquarters and include a disabled toilet/wet room. Scouting offers fun, challenge and everyday adventure to 400,000 girls and boys across the UK. Scouting helps 6-25 year olds grow in confidence, achieve their full potential and become active members of their communities. This is only possible through the efforts of 100,000 volunteers who also enjoy the fun and friendship of Scouting. Trusted by nearly a million parents each week, the movement welcomes members from all backgrounds, faiths and cultures. Special emphasis is placed on bringing the Scouting programme to young people who currently do not benefit, particularly those in inner cities, those in rural areas and other disadvantaged groups. Focusing mainly on local issues - mostly supporting the young and the elderly, we are still able to respond to national and international issues through our membership of LCI, knowing that any funds that we send to an international disaster zone will be handled by like-minded Lions locally.

We believe the education of young children is founded in play. The children are provided with a wide range of stimulating and absorbing activities, which we believe will help build their self-esteem, self-confidence, independence and creativity while developing their observation, enjoyment and appreciation of the world around them. As a registered charity, we rely on fundraising activities for additional income, which is invested directly into the Pre-School’s funds to benefit our children.
