Fifteen members of Open Door Church Sunbury are going on a mission trip to the Philippines for sixteen days in November 2017. We will work out there with a church who are already based in Cavite, Philippines to help the street children, work amongst the elderly and also to go into the prison twice a week to provide comfort and support. Human rights are poor in the Philippines and many of the inmates are left on remand. The standards vary, but they are often very overcrowded dormitories, no sleeping bed, no toiletries, cramped conditions and inadequate water supply, sanitation and ventilation. We will support the Cavite church while we are out there and then continue to support them when we get home with financial assistance. Please donate to support our cause.
