To date WOF have provided help to orphaned children in Thailand and other children across the globe, recently helping children in Uganda and at home here in N.Ireland. The main focus of WOF is to provide health, education and hope for children less fortunate or in need of support both locally and internationally.

Since 2000 we have been bringing professional artists and older people together for weekly arts workshops, creative activities and cultural events, which include: mosaics, music making, video production, ceramics, drama, painting, Indian hand dancing, photography, puppetry, poetry and lots more. Through its creative approach Arts Together plays an important role in countering loneliness and isolation, and enhancing the well-being of older people. Twyford Pre-School has been at the heart of the Yalding villagecommunity for over 50 years. The recent closure of several local Pre-Schoolshas come as a sorry reminder to us all just how tricky it is to sustain avillage Pre-School in this modern age. We are so lucky to have a team ofdedicated staff & trustees and a group of wonderful parents and carers tomake up “Team Twyford”. Now, more than ever, it is important that we pulltogether to raise the vital funds so that we can give the children of our villageand surrounding communities the best possible start in their early yearseducation. Without fundraising and the continued support from family, friendsand the wider community we would simply cease to exist. YTD Raised: £210.00Beale Wildlife Park is a 35-acre park with wildlife and gardens to enjoy. The wildlife includes rare species of animals and the beautiful gardens are an oasis of calm. The Park is located alongside the River Thames near Pangbourne in Berkshire. The mission of the Park is the conservation of animals, the education of the public in caring for animals, the importance of caring for the planet and awareness of species under threat. With over 140 species of mammals and birds within the park, we aim to provide them with the best care, feed and enrichment available to us. Our amazing collection of animals enable us to help our visitors and the general public to discover the natural world and the richness the animal kingdom brings to the biodiversity around us. We are home to animals from all over the world. From our Carpathian lynx and our family of Asian Short-clawed otters to our Shetland ponies and donkeys - we are home to a mixture of domestic and exotic mammals. Our collection of birds stretches from the Caracara (found in the Falkland Islands) and the Snowy Owls from north America to our macaws from south America and the Ibis and Swift Parakeets from Australia. The Park offers a great day out for people of all ages and abilities providing access to open spaces, gardens, lakes and ponds. It is simply an opportunity for every one of all ages to spend time with family and friends in a safe environment.
