(UK, 1163469) Browse eventsGoing Further Together - Changing Futures Together Established in September 2015 Lancashire Youth Challenge exists to provide life enhancing and at times life changing opportunities for young people who are deemed to be vulnerable and ‘at risk’, through well managed and facilitated ‘once in a lifetime’ physical challenges and creative activities. As an emerging charity we provide a unique service which works with small numbers of vulnerable young people for an extended period of time, providing weekly group activity, annual expeditions and regular one to one support and guidance. By providing numerous learning and engagement opportunities the young people develop their emotional intelligence and resilience whilst feeling empowered to fully explore their identity and sense of self. Our annual programmes are designed to enable our young participants to challenge themselves, access new worlds and new experiences, develop their own meaning and recognise the positive impact they can have upon themselves and their wider community.
