As the only project of its kind in Scotland, it offers children and young people between the ages of four and eighteen individual sessions with trained workers. In our purpose built centre children use therapeutic play and specialist activities to explore the effect the death has had on their lives. Since opening in 2003 we have supported over 1000 children and young people and their families.

Our current priority is to find out why and where salmon and sea trout are dying and the AST is directing its focus on the migration of salmonids, and the lower river, coastal and marine environment.The Atlantic Salmon Trust’s development of internationally recognised projects such as the Likely Suspects Framework and the Moray Firth Array Project is demonstrating how the Trust is transforming into an organisation which will have a significant impact on salmon research and conservation for it’s next 50 years. Without your support we would not be able to conceive these strategic large-scale projects or continue to support local projects and studentships.
