The shelter in Targoviste, Romania is run by Cristina Paun. Cristina rescues and cares for abandoned, stray and abused dogs. The majority of which have been rescued from the public shelter where they are treated with cruelty. The shelter currently has 800 dogs, all awaiting their forever homes.
