The museum is the home of Cornwall's Regimental history, with collections spanning over 300 years, including the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry (DCLI) collection and the national Light Infantry (LI) collection. The museum is situated inside the Grade II listed Bodmin Keep, former barracks of the DCLI and the heart of military life in Cornwall for over 150 years. Every penny we raise through donations and gifts goes towards supporting the future of the museum, caring for our collections, and telling our soldiers' stories.

The Space Centre, Preston is a multi-sensory centre providing life enhancing experiences and skill improvement to a wide range of individuals with additional needs. These individuals may be autistic, physically handicapped, have learning difficulties or emotional problems or have additional needs of almost any kind. The centre provides a wide range of inter-active audio, visual and tactile stimulation and experiences that can be tailored to our client's individual needs and enable them to learn new social and physical skills. We cater for groups and individuals of all ages.The Space Centre is the largest multi-sensory centre in the UK but receives no public funding whatsoever yet the need for our services continues to grow. We provide the very best experiences and learning opportunities for our clients but this requires continual funding for new advanced equipment and technology.Please help the Friends of Space to continue to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
