Dr Ian Mavor OAM wanted to create a place where children could come to ‘help heal the heartache’ in their little lives when faced with traumatic situations, such as a death of a parent or sibling or their own terminal illness. Children also suffer grief through separation or divorce as one in two families break up in Australia. Paradise Kids provides group support and individual counselling to these children and their families.
