Daytrippers Limited (UK, 1097313) Browse events

YTD Raised: £0.00

Daytrippers was founded in 2003 to help children with disabilities, life limiting or terminal illnesses enjoy amazing experiences. To date we have helped over 20,000 children by either funding group daytrips or hosting their own larger scale events, encouraging the children and their parents to experience new and exciting environments whilst making friends. Daytrippers continuously growing list of events includes; the UK’s largest pan-disability football tournament, co-sponsoring London Zoo’s Annual Special Children’s Day, Oscar film premieres showcasing the children’s own films and animations, multi sensory art and music workshops at Colourscape Festival, and a sought after private showing of the annual Christmas Pantomime at The Lyric Theatre. Every penny donated we put straight towards a daytrip or event ensuring that as many disabled children as possible get out and about all over the UK.

YTD Raised: £0.00

Penrose was founded in 1968 to work with and support vulnerable individuals, those with mental health illness, forensic mental health, offending histories and substance misuse issues. We continue to work with some of the most vulnerable, complex and high-risk needs members of society, assisting our service users in achieving: recovery, stability, community integration and leaving behind offending histories.  Every year we work with over 500 people from our residential bases and a further 2000 from our drop-in services.  Penrose puts into place personalised programmes that will support the service user and inculcate offending-free behaviours. Penrose consistently record recidivism rates of less than 9% throughout our offender resettlement, Drug Intervention Programme and Integrated Offender Management services. Our return to inpatient care remains consistent at less than 1% of service users within our mental health services.  Penrose are ambitious for our service users. Our aim is to support people into productive and independent lives to make each community a safer place to live, work and raise families. Our focus is on securing the most effective and successful outcome for an individual’s future. Raising money through fundraising and donations is essential to us being able to improve our services, offer better services and help more people. Your support is very much appreciated.
