We are based at Springfield Lakes in the city of Ipswich, Queensland. Greater Springfield is one of the largest growing communities in Australia and from 2010 the teenage population in our region was more than 5,000 and growing. The youth population is expecting a growth spike over the next few years as an increasing number of pre-teens enter their teens. Within this community framework we reach out to youth in relevant ways such as the world wide web, multi media resources, literature, music, local outreach activities and initiatives at social sports facilities, shopping centres, schools, training conferences and seminars plus events like Youth Week and an array of camps and recreational activities. We also provide links to organisations that provide specialist care and support for youth related issues e.g. substance abuse and addictions, mental health, counselling, and sexual abuse.
