(UK, SC003945) Browse eventsPLUS is a registered charity that supports children and young people with disabilities, to have access to social, leisure and recreational opportunities and activities, across Forth Valley. PLUS was established in 1988 by parents who believed that children with disabilities had as much right as anyone else to an ordinary social life. PLUS support offers parents and carers a short break, which strengthens their family unit. These short breaks both increase the capacity and resilience of families to continue in their caring roles. PLUS currently engages with over 230 families in the community and in 2014 PLUS organised and ran over 1550 activities and events resulting in almost 4200 attendees. PLUS currently supports over 250 individuals between the ages of 0-35 with a range of disabilities such as; Downs Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Global Learning Delay and many have complex needs.
