Recycling Items such as bikes, pallets, paint and even food on its sell-by date helps those most in need to reduce homelessness, isolation, poverty and improves both mental and physical health. Daily footfall is over 2000, and the Social Impact Calculator estimates the value of what we provide at over £2 million. Numerous groups, such as Young At Heart (lunch club for the elderly), National Autistic Society, Gamblers’ Anonymous, Men (and Women) In Sheds, Tea Dance, Aspire to Sew, Growing Great Things (gardening in grounds of our building - especially designed for those living with mental health issues), Treasure Box (Toddler Group), plus several Craft and Fitness groups meet in Aspire providing activities that enrich participants’ lives. Volunteering opportunities give self-esteem and structure to those who might otherwise feel their lives are empty. Our aim is to improve the lives of everyone in our community.
