This could be because of age, disability, physical and/or mental illness. In addition to our qualified nurses, health care assistants and trained staff we are fortunate to have forty-five committed and trained volunteers who help in many different ways to run the centre, helping to transport our clients and assisting in all fund-raising events. We are proud to offer a happy and secure environment where people can enjoy each others’ company while being cared for and supported. This leaves their carers free time to have a break from what can be an exhausting and stressful daily routine. Homelink also provides a complete support framework for carers, including regular internal support meetings and trainings and by signposting carers to other local support groups and networks.
