The aim of the PFA is to advance the education of the pupils in the school through: The development of more extended relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. Engaging in activities, which support the school and advance the education of the pupils attending and make a difference to the educational experience of pupils at the school now and in the future. To enable these activities the PFA will run a variety of fundraising events throughout the year. Uganda Lodge Community Projects is a UK registered charity (1150023) that promotes better educational, health, social and life outcomes for the children and wider community of Ruhanga in south-west Uganda. Our work to date includes the building of a school for the village children, a gravity well to provide a reliable water source for the community, a health clinic to promote better health outcomes and we are currently developing a library and bike repair workshop amongst other initiatives. The project is supported by English speaking volunteers from across the world who stay at Ruhanga Resource Centre from where they help at the school and get involved in the many village based projects.
