With Southport YMCA no longer wanting to run a competitive gymnastics club we need to raise enough money to buy the club from them or see the club close. From our tiny tots enjoying the facility to roll and jump around to our Olympian Dan Purvis we need to Save Our Gymnastics for all of them. Please help and donate now. YTD Raised: £250.00We are a group of Paramedics, Ambulance personnel, fellow health care professionals, family and friends. Many of the original founders of our group have been volunteering in developing countries, fundraising and raising awareness of some of the challenges that are faced in Africa and Asia, amongst others, for over 10 years. As a group of friends, most of us Paramedics,we came together in 2016 to work on our first group project in Cameroon. This work involved assisting in the construction of the building of a health centre, as well as working alongside local medical staff in it. It soon became obvious to all of us that a number of our colleagues had wanted to do something similar. With an amazing amount of support from the general public we decided to set up Volunteer Medics as a Charity to provide a quality volunteering programme with the Ambulance Service, associated health care professionals and friends in mind. So here we are!

Scouting has been in Hinckley District since September 1910, branching out to cover the town and villages of Burbage, Stoney Stanton, Sapcote, Barwell, Earl Shilton, Stoke Golding and Hinckley. Boys and girls with and age range of 6 – 18 years make up our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers. We were lucky enough to purchase Fox Covert, our local woodland campsite in 1952. Giving us space for new experiences, fun and Life skills. Many friendships have been made around the campfire with memories to last a lifetime.
