Learning through play and parental involvement in the care and learning of young children is integral to our work. The Alliance represents 14,000 member settings, supporting delivery of care and learning to over 800,000 families. We have a 15 year history of working with and supporting the most vulnerable and disadvantaged women living in our community, achieving positive outcomes for many of the 850+ women we currently support every year. With external evaluations of a number of our projects, we continue to learn and develop best practice in working with women with multiple needs. Our experience and solid partnerships across a wide spectrum of external agencies across the city, as well as the fact that there are few if any agencies like Women’s Work in Derbyshire providing a holistic service to, women and their families.
