(UK, 1113924) Thousands of greyhounds retire from racing every year. Some are less than two years old; the majority are aged around three and four. Many people do not realise that greyhounds make excellent family pets. They are gentle, loving and adapt to home life easily. Contrary to common belief they are actually very lazy and only need two 20 minute walks each day. When re-homed responsibly they can live with other breeds of dogs and other pets such as cats. Why not consider 'A forty miles per hour couch potato' as your next family dog?

YTD Raised: £380.00Mount Ventoux Challenge successfully completed!On June 24th, the Inside Out team took on Mount Ventoux by cycling up the mountain not just once but three times in 24 hours. Take a look at our photo gallery to see the pain on the face of Inside Out's chair, Patrick Foster.Patrick was joined by fellow St Andrew's alumni Mike Preston and Henning Goranson Sandberg on a hot and steamy day. Starting at first light it took until near darkness to complete the challenge of cycling up over 13,000 vertical feet. No surprise that this iconic mountain is the ultimate test for cyclists in the Tour de France. Special thanks to Barrie and Sue Clarke, our team coaches, who provided technical expertise, moral support and jelly beans. And to the full support team of WAGs who drove up and down the mountain all day with water and energy supplies.Inside OutInside Out works towards building relationships with prisoners to support their successful return to the community.The charity has no external financial support; the vast majority of the work is carried out by volunteers. Our aim is to raise the £60,000 needed to run the charity each year.

We work towards this through our annual celebration of equality and diversity at Pride Cymru. (Historically known as Cardiff-Wales LGBT Mardi Gras) Cardiff-Wales LGBT Mardi Gras, trading as Pride Cymru is wholly operated and organised by a group of individuals that makes up the Board of Trustees, the Volunteer Event Management Committee and a large number of other volunteers from organisations supporting our annual major events. We also seek to work within all areas of the LGBT+ community in Wales and by co-production, engagement and partnering with other organisations we have a programme of projects aimed at supporting specifically the LGBT+ community, but also aimed at developing links with the wider community. Our intention is to increase understanding and respect for all which will lead to a reduction in hate crime.
