It works with all ages/groups across the community, striving towards making a progressive, positive and significant difference. It has carried out such work since 1888. It particularly presents opportunities to teenagers, youths and young adults. who might be facing challenge, disadvantage and a lack of future direction. We look to offer on-going support and development, where this might be requested, and appreciated.

YTD Raised: £390.00We are celebrating our 45th year in operation this year, meaning that more than once now we have served multiple generations of families locally. We currently have 29 children age 2-5 in our care across the week and we’re open from 9-3 daily in term time, as well as running a parent and toddler group that is a lifeline for young families. We also employ 7 members of staff, providing hugely important employment within our rural location. We operate in an upstairs room of the Auchenblae village hall, and we also have the use of the privately owned curling rink in the heart of the village as an outdoor space.

We are deeply concerned for the safety and well being of refugees, asylum seekers, refused asylum seekers, people with limited or no recourse to public funds as a result of their immigration status, young unaccompanied asylum seekers, victims of human trafficking, foreign national offenders and others who find it difficult to settle in the UK. Founded in 1983, Praxis has worked with people from some of the world's most dangerous and troubled locations including Latin America, Francophone Africa, the Horn of Africa and the Middle East. Praxis operates a walk in advice service and operates projects which seek to address the fundamental human rights of new migrants.
