Sea-changers (UK, 1142119) Browse events

YTD Raised: £505.00

Sea-Changers is a marine conservation charity responding to a marine crisis. Imagine if there was a turnstile on the sea and every time you went diving, for a surf, sailing or on a cruise you were somehow asked to give a pound, a dollar or a euro as a kind of entry fee and all the money raised was used to make a huge difference to marine conservation projects. Sea-Changers is a new charity that aims to do just that and raise money for marine conservation in the UK by creating a community of Sea-Changer businesses and individuals who will work together to raise money for marine projects. Our approach is simple. We know many people love the sea and love being able to practice their sport and leisure pursuits in, or by the sea. We provide these sea-users with quick and easy ways to give something back to the sea and make a difference to the marine environment by making small donations to marine conservation that when added together can make a BIG difference.

Central and South Sussex Citizens Advice Bureau (UK, 1116660) Browse events

YTD Raised: £504.37

Central and South Sussex CAB helps thousands of people in West Sussex every year. We advise people on their rights and responsibilities – on debt, welfare benefits, employment, housing, consumer problems, relationships and much more. Our advice is free, independent, confidential and impartial.  We help everyone, from all backgrounds; we value diversity, promote equality and challenge discrimination. We also work to improve people’s lives by campaigning and by influencing policymakers. We gather evidence on issues and practices we believe are unjust, we raise these issues with those who are causing them, and suggest how they could be avoided. You can help us to continue to run our service by donating to us. Any amount, small or large, helps us give advice to the people who need us. You can choose to give a one-off donation, or to give us more regular support. You can do this by giving to us monthly; it’s easy to set up a direct debit, and is so valuable to our clients. We are a registered charity, and part of a nationwide network of Citizens Advice Bureaux. Thank you so much for your support. It means a lot to the people of West Sussex.
