The half marathon has rapidly grown into one of the regions premier races, attracting over 2,000 entrants every year. All profits from each years race are donated to deserving local charities chosen by the Trustees. The beneficiaries for the 2018 race are Essex & Herts Air Ambulance and MS UK.
