Nambour State College was founded in 2016, resulting from the amalgamation of Nambour State High School and Nambour State School. Two of the oldest schools on the Sunshine Coast had co-existed for decades and decided to join forces to help provide the best possible education for our students. The Colchester Half Marathon is a small charity run entirely by unpaid volunteers from Colchester Colne Round Table. The half marathon has rapidly grown into one of the regions premier races, attracting over 2,000 entrants every year. All profits from each years race are donated to deserving local charities chosen by the Trustees. The beneficiaries for the 2018 race are Essex & Herts Air Ambulance and MS UK.
