With more Australians dying of pancreatic and liver cancer each year than breast or prostate, Dr Nikfarjam was driven to establish Pancare as a way of increasing awareness, research and support for those affected by pancreatic, liver, biliary and foregut cancers. When a patient is diagnosed with cancer it impacts on the whole family and the community in which they live.
