The Duchenne Research Fund has the vision that, through our work, a cure will be found for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). The Duchenne Research Fund, formerly know as The GM Trust, was established in May 2007 to identify and fund research into finding a cure for this devastating disease.

The P&C continues to provide a forum for parents and contributes significantly to the educational program of all students at Halls Head Primary School. The P&C raises funds to support various programs within the school including supporting School Plan initiatives, class incentives for students, various student activities and resourcing to areas of the school such as the Early Childhood area and Technology.

CanTeen is the Australian Organisation for Young People Living with Cancer. CanTeen’s mission is to support, develop and empower young people living with cancer. We do this by providing a peer support network for 12-24 year-olds affected by cancer either directly, or through family members.
Columba College is a special character, state-integrated, day and boarding school for girls from Years 7 to 13 with a co-educational Junior School (Years 0 to 6). The PTA are raising funds for new playground equipment for the School. There will be a school-wide fun run to raise funds and to bring the School Community together.

The German Shepherd Dog Welfare Fund is a charity that rescues, cares for and rehomes vulnerable German Shepherds. Established since 1975, it was the first German Shepherd Dog breed only rescue to be formed in the UK. Many of the dogs that come into our care have behavioural issues and we do our best to rehabilitate them so they can find a loving home. Some come to us with ongoing illnesses. We do not discriminate against these dogs, in fact, we pledge to pay for their medication for the rest of their life. Since the inception, The German Shepherd Dog Welfare Fund have provided caring and suitable homes for over 9,000 German Shepherd Dogs to the present day. The charity is made up of a small dedicated team of volunteers. The German Shepherd Welfare Fund receive no government funding and rely solely on the generosity of individuals.
