SWGMC is non-auditioned male-voice choir based in Cardiff in South Wales, UK. Our members hail from all over South Wales and come together in Cardiff for weekly rehearsals and post-rehearsal drinks. We are a friendly, lively and inclusive group who enjoy making music together and hold exciting and varied performances throughout the year, across the UK and beyond!We are a registered charity but also promote and support other causes. In 2015 we supported Mind Cymru - in 2016 we are helping Out and Proud, a Cardiff based charity that supports young LGBT people.Please donate to support our cause. YTD Raised: £360.00Friends of Diabetes International (FODI) was established in 2016 as a UK Registered Charity to try and address some of the unmet needs of those living with Diabetes in Sub Saharan Africa. Without proper diagnosis, treatment and management Diabetes continues to reduce long term health prognosis and takes many lives prematurely. The most vulnerable groups are the young, the elderly, pregnant women and small babies (gestational Diabetes). We are currently working with Friends of Diabetes Sierra Leone to construct a clinic in a recycled shipping container - The Freetown Diabetes Clinic. The clinic has been designed by architecture students from London Metropolitan University and the estimated cost, including contents, is £6000. Please donate now and help us build this essential medical facility to support us in our work of Diabetes Prevention and Management in Sierra Leone.
