CAB is a member of the Citizens Advice network, a well-known and trusted nationwide brand, whose aims are: CAB have delivered effective, high impact advice services across Bedford since 1940, and have successfully delivered Community Advice Support Services as part of an annual grant agreement with Bedford Borough Council since 2009. During 2015/16 CAB provided 32,677 pieces of advice to over 8,000 people, generated £2.7M in benefit gain, re-negotiated/wrote off debt worth £1.6M, and saved clients’ over £10,000 through switching their energy for better deals.
