(AU, 24086334058) The ARV Foundation For Aged Care is ARV’s charity arm. Its role is to raise funds for new and innovative programs that improve the quality of life for our residents and clients. Since its inception in 1984, the Foundation has raised over $23 million through community fundraising, bequests, special events, charitable trusts and foundation and corporate support. Those funds have led to some wonderful programs such as, the BrightMinds™ memory enhancement centre, the BetterBalance™ Centre for the improvement of strength, mobility and balance and the Karviah Research Project into the prevention of dementia. The Foundation supports ARV’s Vision and Mission by contributing to the lifestyle and amenity of our residents and community clients; raising awareness and increasing the understanding of aged care issues in the community and government; undertaking benevolent initiatives and facilitating the promotion and proclamation of Christ’s message within aged care.
