YTD Raised: $0.00

Hagar International is dedicated to the recovery, protection, and empowerment of survivors of severe human rights abuse (gender-based violence, exploitation, and human trafficking) in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Afghanistan. We do whatever it takes for as long as it takes to restore broken lives to wholeness. Hagar uses a holistic, individualized, and long-term approach that addresses the unique and complex needs of each survivor that enters its care. Through services such as shelters, counseling, legal protection, education, vocational training, and job placements, Hagar facilitates life-changing transformation for survivors. In over 20 years, Hagar has supported more than 15,000 women and children in forging a more independent and happier future for themselves. As an affiliated support office of Hagar International, Hagar International (Hong Kong) educates the Hong Kong public about the human rights issues on which Hagar works, increases social awareness of Hagar’s holistic approach to empowering and restoring survivors, and raises funds for Hagar’s programs/projects in Afghanistan, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
