The largest of our services is our Assisted Living Service, which provides the one-to-one support of a personal assistant to an individual in their home, workplace, school/college or local community. Other services include: Resource and Outreach Centres in local communities; transport; driving assessment, tuition and advice; holiday services; as well as a range of educational opportunities, information, housing supports and youth services. As an approved housing body, IWA also provides accessible housing units for people with disabilities. IWA operates in every county in Ireland from our network of 57 local centres, our three holiday centres and our National Mobility Centre. The Association also deliver services in member’s homes, workplaces, educational establishments and communities. IWA is the national governing body for wheelchair sport in Ireland and we provide a range of sporting opportunities for participation at all levels, and for competitive sport from juvenile level right up to elite level. Many of our athletes aspire to represent Ireland at Paralympic games and other international sporting events. Additionally, IWA seeks to shape public policy and influence developments by reflecting the views of our members on issues such as access to the built environment, housing provision and design, employment, education and transport. (UK, 1135392) Planting Promise operates in Sierra Leone with one primary objective; to provide free, high quality education to as many people as possible. We like to think we take an innovative approach to charity and instead of relying solely on charitable donations, we have established our own sustainable agricultural businesses. The profits from these businesses go to funding our schools. We currently run 7 rice plantations, pay our workers a very good wage and look after them well. A proportion of the profits we receive from selling the rice are ploughed (excuse the pun) back into the businesses, and the remainder goes to running our schools. We currently have 5 schools across Sierra Leone, which educate nearly 1,000 students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to go. Our operations are expanding nicely but your donations are crucial to our success. We need to expand to provide employment, training and education in a sustainable manner to as many people as possible, and your donations will help us achieve this.

We are one of the largest scout groups in the Wimbledon and Wandle Scout district, and can trace our history back over 100 years. Through a structured programme of adults working in partnership with young people we make a positive contribution to society by helping young people achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
