The Blue Elephant Theatre is a vibrant venue producing an eclectic programme of new work across the performing arts from physical and dance theatre to new writing and revamped classics, with particular support for new and emerging artists. We are the only theatre in Camberwell, based in the heart of a housing estate, providing local people of all ages with both the opportunity to see professional work and also to participate in community arts. We offer a varied, accessible programme of high-quality, low-cost or free entertainment, provide drama-workshops to local schools and community groups, run two weekly youth theatres as well as after-school clubs and holiday provision, and produce community plays. All our outreach work is provided at no cost to individual participants.

The JAM Fund is a registered charity, established in memory of my son who passed away aged five years after a courageous battle with cancer. Jamie was born on Christmas Day but sadly spent his last birthday being taken into intensive care. Established in March 2005, the Jamie Adamson Memorial Fund, (JAM Fund) tries to help children throughout the UK who are suffering from ANY serious illness. Although a very small charity, we do our best to also aid the families of children who like Jamie, have sadly passed away. Jamie's legacy has been to offer help to others like him and I am very proud to be his Dad. The charity has no paid workers and no offices and in this way it can ensure that the maximum amount donated goes directly where it should- to the children and families the charity tries to help.Please view the charity website at WWW.JAMFUND.CO.UK. As a charity, we believe that YOU should be able to SEE EXACTLY where YOUR money has been used. There are pictures and examples on the website to support this so please come and take a look.
