(UK, 1109918) Browse eventsNotting Hill Genesis (NHG) works in the community, providing homes for lower-income households. This is our primary purpose, and everything else we do supports that aim. Money raised through fundraising contributes to our hardship fund, helping residents during times of hardship and crisis. Sadly, many of our residents struggle to meet basic food and energy costs or pay for essential household items such as beds, fridges, and cookers. This is often due to vulnerability, ill-health, family bereavement or unexpected gaps in benefit claims. Our hardship fund supports around 500 NHG residents per year during these difficult times, with grants to help ease stress and suffering.
(UK, SCO46258) Browse eventsWe are a welfare based animal rescue charity who offer safety for hundreds of animals, large and small every year. We help animals from cats to hens, dogs to terrapins. We help stray dogs from the pounds in the UK and we often help dogs who have heath issues and are going to need ongoing vet treatment for sometimes the rest of their lives. We help small animals-rabbits,guinea pigs etc and many larger animals too like unwanted colts and ex racehorses. We have aviaries where we have many budgies, canaries and parakeets and they remain with us in their flocks for their lifetime. We are run purely by volunteers so all money raised goes directly to the animals. We offer rescue back up for life to every animal we have so they are safe from the minute they come to us to the day they die. We always endeavor to help as many animals as we can and we need the support from our wonderful supporters to help us to carry on.We have over 400 animals with us each month and we desperately need help to provide them with all the veterinary treatment they require,to pay for any behavioral help needed,to buy food and bedding and to get the animals ready to be adopted and find their forever homes.Any help we receive in funding our rescue is greatly appreciated and we are a registered charity who strives to work our hardest to help animals in need.

A healthy mind locked inside a frozen body. The condition is so rare (1 in 2,000,000) that little commercial interest exists in finding a cure so Oliver and his friends need your help. Please be a FOP Friend by supporting our charity. Your donations are the difference between research continuing and it stopping completely. Even the smallest donations make a big difference.
