UK Cervical Cancer exists to protect and enhance the health of disadvantaged women in the UK and in developing countries. With access to vaccination and early detection through screening, cervical cancer should be a largely preventable disease. However there are still around 3,000 new cases in the UK every year - and it is more common amongst vulnerable females often living in deprived areas. UK Cervical Cancer is committed to providing support to these women who need it most. Through our future programs and services we aim to help disadvantaged women in the UK and overseas access the resources they need to live longer, healthier lives.
We are a mental health charity that provides peer support through the power of football and an ethos of 'tackling the mind'. We offer a safe space that allows people to build the tools towards mental resilience. Our aim is to help ease the burden of those who are struggling with poor mental health.
